Catsup/chili sauce 1 cup 1 cup tomato sauce plus ½ cup sugar and 2 tablespoons vinegar
Chocolate 1 square (1 oz) 3 – 4 tablespoons cocoa plus 1 tablespoon butter
Cornstarch 1 tablespoon 2 tablespoons flour
Cream, light 1 cup cup milk plus 3 tablespoons butter
Cream, Heavy 1 cup ¾ cup milk plus cup butter
Dry Mustard 1 teaspoon 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
Flour, self rising 1 cup 1 cup all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon baking powder
Flour, sifted cake 1 cup 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour less 2 tablespoons
Flour, all purpose 1 cup 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons cake flour
Dried Herbs 1 teaspoon 1 tablespoon fresh herbs
Lemon juice of 1 3 tablespoons bottled lemon juice
Milk, Whole 1 cup ½ cup evaporated milk plus ½ cup water
Milk, Buttermilk 1 cup 1 cup whole milk plus 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice (let stand 5 minutes)
Onion, fresh 1 small 1 tablespoon dehydrated minced onion
Orange juice of 1 ½ cup orange juice

Great tips! So many times I have found that I am out of an ingredient while I am in the middle of cooking or baking! This list will be so helpful. I printed it. Plan to laminate it and keep on the inside of a kitchen cabinet door for easy reference!
