As many of you already know I was chosen along with 21 other food bloggers to be part of the #SeriousSandwich cook-along. I received an advanced copy of Emeril Lagasse’s upcoming cookbook, Emeril’s Kicked-Up Sandwiches , and will prepare at least two sandwiches a week for three weeks using recipes from the book. I will also blog about my experiences.
A few days ago I received Emeril’s New Book, Emeril’s Kicked-Up Sandwiches. I’ve been flipping through it and marking the recipes that I can’t wait to make and share. The book goes on sale on October 16th. Don’t be jealous that I already have a copy, I’ll also be giving a copy away! So please stay tuned for the giveaway!
This book is full of delicious recipes from easy everyday sandwiches to more complicated gourmet sandwiches. There are even breakfast and dessert sandwiches, so far these are my favorite sections.
If you are just itching to get your hands on the book you can pre-0rder it here and if you want more information about this tasty book you can go here!
So without further waiting here is my first sandwich! I made Emeril’s Philly Cheesesteak, My Way. Would you believe that before I made this I’d never had a Philly Cheesesteak, embarrassing I know! How have I gone this far without ever having one?! That’s why I decided it was time.
It was awesome! It was an marvelous blend of grilled peppers, tender steak and melted cheeses. This may have been my first Philly Cheesesteak, but it won’t be my last.
Stay turned for my next #SeriousSandwich and giveaway!
