The grocery stores I go to most often puts items on clearance when it’s nearing it’s expiration date. I’m able to buy a whole bag of bananas for $1! Sometimes I’m not able to use them all up before they turn to complete mush! That leads me to my cooking tip! You can freeze bananas! You can freeze overripe bananas with their skins on and use them in baked goods later! They will be mushy after you thaw them, perfect for banana bread!
